Dark Crystal Mullion

 

The Dark Crystal Reader is a passive RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) reader for use with the Progeny P4 systems. The proximity credential is encoded with an encrypted identification number.

 

This number is transmitted when presented to the Dark Crystal reader. The reader then passes this number on to the control equipment for an access control decision.

 

The Dark Crystal reader is weather protected and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

 

The PR-4820 (Mullion) is completely sealed and intrinsically IP66.

 

The mullion reader is designed for applications when space is limited or were extra weather resistance is required.
